Faria N. grew up in a household where her parents took joy in capturing everyday life through photos and videos. As a result, not only did she take up a camera as her friend early on in life, but she also acknowledged how having those artifacts from her childhood helped her find who she is later in adulthood.
She truly believes that pictures age like a glass of fine wine - only getting more precious with time. Not that she knows how a glass of fine wine tastes - she does not drink.
Having grown up in Bangladesh, then living briefly in Boston, and finally moving to Ann Arbor - she has experienced a blend of perspectives that help her capture moments with sensitivity.
